| Bias | A tendency to favour one perspective over another, often unfairly |
| Reliability | The consistency and trustworthiness of a source |
| Validity | Whether a source accurately represents what it claims to |
| Corroboration | Using multiple sources to verify a claim or piece of evidence |
| Citation | A reference to the source of information used in research |
| Hypothesis | A testable prediction or proposed explanation for a phenomenon |
